From 29 June to 10 July 2026, two students from Opole University of Technology participated in the international “Art & Heritage in Motion: From Theory to Practice” Summer School, organised by the Polytechnic University of Tomar (Portugal) within the KreativEU – Knowledge & Creativity European University Alliance and the Erasmus+ Programme.
The programme combined lectures, workshops, and hands-on activities focused on cultural heritage preservation and conservation. Participants explored traditional papermaking and bookbinding techniques, learned about the creation of Portugal’s iconic azulejos tiles, and gained practical experience in artwork conservation and heritage documentation.
The Summer School provided an excellent opportunity to develop professional and intercultural competences, collaborate in an international academic environment, and exchange experiences with students from partner universities across Europe. The mobility also strengthened international cooperation within the KreativEU Alliance.
