The official inauguration of the 2025/2026 academic year at Opole University of Technology brought together our entire academic community. This year is particularly special, as we are entering the university’s 60th jubilee year. But it was also unique because, as every year, we proudly welcomed Erasmus+ students at the ceremony.
Their presence at the inauguration has already become a cherished tradition of our university. During this year’s ceremony, we were joined by students representing seven countries: Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine, and Moldova. They will stay with us for the entire semester, and with great enthusiasm, they are looking forward to discovering our university, the city of Opole, and making new friendships with Polish students.
The inauguration was not only the symbolic start of the academic year but also a reminder that Opole University of Technology is an open, diverse, and international place where tradition meets modernity.
