The Vulcanus in Japan programme offers industrial placements in Japan for students who are citizens of an EU Member State or of a country associated with the Single Market Programme (SMP, SME pillar). Eligible candidates are students in engineering, high-tech, or scientific fields, who – at the time of application – are between their 4th year of studies and the final year of PhD.
Programme duration: August 2026 – March 2027
Application deadline: 20 January 2026
Online application: Students must obtain certain documents from their university, including a certificate of enrolment in English.
