From 28 June to 4 July 2026, students from Opole University of Technology participated in the international event “Living Heritage: Tracing Wallachia’s Legacy across its Historic Capitals”, organised by Valahia University of Târgoviște within the KreativEU – Knowledge & Creativity European University Alliance.
The programme combined lectures, workshops, and field activities dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of cultural heritage. Participants visited the historic capitals of Wallachia – Târgoviște, Curtea de Argeș, Câmpulung, and Bucharest – exploring their history, architecture, and significance for Europe’s cultural heritage.
The walking seminar also provided an excellent opportunity to collaborate in an international environment, exchange experiences, and discuss contemporary challenges related to cultural heritage preservation. Participation in the event enabled students to develop their academic and intercultural competences while establishing new connections within the KreativEU Alliance.
